Customer photo review of Begonia Tubers - Golden Balcony

These were so easy to plant and take care of here in the Atlanta/8a area, on a patio that gets only partial sun, and very little air circulation. These tubers were planted in a coconut husk container in April, took awhile to come up, but once they did, they flowered abundantly throughout a humid, sticky HOT summer here in GA. I think the key is shade or at least partial shade, and not to drown them. I doubt I'll be able to reliably overwinter them since we tend to get at least 2-3 frosts/freezes here in ATL but I will try. These are just so pretty and easy and bloom all summer, even the dog days!

I planted these in the beginning of March and they are just blooming now in the middle of July! Hopefully I will be able to overwinter them in the hanging baskets they are in and they will come back next year!

Sadly, these never grew for me.
