One of our favorites, Blue Flax, brings a graceful, natural charm to the garden. Its sky-blue, star-shaped flowers bloom each morning from spring into summer. This European native thrives in full sun and well-drained soil, forming clumps of airy foliage with delicate blooms that gently sway in the breeze. Easy to grow from seed, Blue Flax returns to meadows, borders, and pollinator gardens year after year.

Not sure if I got a bad pack, but I tried to sow these both directly and under grow lights inside. No matter what I did, I couldn't get a single sprout to pop up.

These are adorable and unique flowers, and very easy to grow. I grew them in an irrigated garden patch, a dry garden patch, and a container and they grew well in all three places. Beautiful blooms, not the best for cut flowers as they do drop their petals in the afternoon but new blooms open each morning.

    Perennial Blue Flax Seeds

These blue flax flowers are so beautiful. It took a while for them to bloom, but well worth it! They bloomed later in the summer the first year and I was so excited because they are sweet and very blue flowers. Seemed like they lasted in bloom for a long time since each flower only lasts for about a day or two and a new flower would open in it's place.

These drought tolerant gems are one of my favs. Your seeds i recieved also seemed to sprout faster then the ones bought from the Depot. You won't see blooms the 1st planting season, but come next spring these are beautiful. Plant a hearty amount of seeds together to get abundant blooms for weeks in the spring year after year.
