Customer photo review of Catnip Seeds

Eden Brothers sent me 7 lbs of "catnip" seed. None of the seeds smelled like Catnip, I didn't realize that should be suspicious. 1 month after throwing down the seeds, this crazy Nettle like weed is growing all over my yard. I contacted Eden Brothers with a picture of the weed, wondering what this weed was. They told me they misslabeled all of the bags, and what I had wasn't catnip at all. They actually didn't tell me what it was. I've now been battling this red flowered nettle like weed, all summer. I ordered Catnip seed from a different company and was relieved when that Catnip seed actually smelled like catnip. I now have Catnip growing, amongst the beasty weed that Eden Brothers sent me. I'll never order from Eden Brothers again, The weed they sent me is trying to take over everything, its an absolutely nightmare. See the weed in the photo attached. Avoid this product and this company!!!!!

    Catnip Seeds

I didnt water it, after planting in spring. The rain was enough. The rhizomes spread all winter and the new growth spent several days under the snow, with minimal damage. Weed eat it, mow over it, this catnip will not quit on you! Great Seeds!

    Catnip Seeds

I planted the seeds in an indoor window box, since fall is setting in. So far the shoots are doing well. I look forward to their growth.

    Catnip Seeds

Since I am 'owned'by three cats (and if you are too!),this catnip is fantastic!!! Previously,I had grown the same in a planter and it lasted for three years - until a certain kitty (who shall remain nameless) decided to rearrange it. It is so good, I have to hide it out of reach! Every single seed planted evolved into thick healthy plants!!! Definitely deserves more than five stars! :)
