    Absolutely stunning- Huge and lasted so long! Had a couple of flowers and lots of buds but unfortunately the wind brought my plant down so had to cut it quite low but looks like the buds are back again! Only one tuber grew

    This was my first time ordering these and I must say they are simply amazing! The blooms are huge and grow in mass. It’s October and each plant has at least 7-10 blooms. They are gorgeous.

    I ordered about 40 tubers and they all popped up beautifully. About a month ago all were loaded with buds about to pop and we had an unexpected freeze. I lost everything. I didn’t get to see even 1 full bloom this year. I’ll be digging up the tubers this weekend & storing until next spring. I just hope they survive the wintering.

With a shorter growing season, later-blooming dahlias can sometimes run out of time before frost, even when the plants themselves grow beautifully. We reached out with some tips for next season, including pre-sprouting the tubers indoors to give them a head start. As you prepare for winter, allow frost to kill back the foliage before lifting the tubers, then store them in a cool, dark, frost-free location.
