I’ve had a great overall experience with my purchases from Eden Brothers. That said 2 of the 5 tubers looked very rough so I took photos just in case. Ultimately all 5 did sprout and 4 of them have been growing well all season.
Got some last minute tubers on sale. They all looked fine, but one had visible crown gall. I threw it away and am now growing the rest in grow bags away from my garden space to quarantine them until I know they are clean.

I’m happy with this dahlia tuber set, almost all of the tubers sprouted strong, healthy plants. Only one didn’t grow, but the rest are thriving. Great value and quality overall. Will definitely buy different varieties from this company.
This was my first time growing tubers and it was a 5/5 succcess. They're just starting to flower and these are the two varities I have so far flowering. The only thing I didn't take into account was how big the plants are. So I would not recommend a 12" pot per tuber. I'm having to lean the plants against the wall/window to support them haahaa.
This was my first time ordering from Eden Brothers and of growing dahlias. The quality of the tubers and the plants they grew into was excellent! The plants were very prolific, blooming into October!
I was excited about this set but only received 4 of the 5 tubers. They weren't labeled so I don't know which is missing. I contacted customer service and was given $10 credit. Now I have to pay shipping and still not sure which is missing. I asked if I could send back to get a replacement but was told no, they didn't want back bc tubers would be dried out. So I lost on this deal. I'm disappointed in Edens Brothers' customer service.

Only 1 of these sprouted. And then was diseased. Purchased a bunch of dahlias from them was extremely excited but barely any sprouted. Buyer beware. Please Eden brothers fix your reputation because it’s not that great in the dahlia community.

I was very excited about all 5 of these bulbs last summer but only had three of them bloomed. The three ball ones did very well, they were the Wizard of Oz, Sweet Nathalie and Kona. My cafe au Lait and Karma Maarten Zwaan not so much, one died a week or so after they were planted and the other only grew a handful green leaves and as really short the whole season without a single bulb. My other tubers from Eden Brothers did very well that I'm going to order more this year but only going to buy them individually and not in a mix bag.
Not sure what happened to little Cafe con Leche Mix's poor reputation, maybe a sweep of novel weather, maybe a flux of new and discouraged gardeners? I've had luck with everything from Eden Brothers, especially dahlias. I purchased this mix in particular, have bought other mixes, as well as ordered single varieties that I just wanted more of. I'm almost always able to cut the tubers they send to expand my planting area. I live in zone 6a and over the years I've found that not all varieties are equal. Some are slightly more hardy and survived my winter consistently. Some are more prone to pests like thrip. Some bloom earlier. I've gardened long enough to know that the nature of gardening is unpredictable. These past few winters have been longer but mild for my area. All my new dahlias came later this year, all my old ones were on time but seemed smaller. There are so many variables to consider before blaming the flower farm or the variety, and so much user error to be had, especially when it comes to planting location, soil conditions and water.
Also, mixes aren't supposed to be labeled, and it's not guaranteed that you'll get every variety listed. That's the point of the mix. That's why it's a better deal and popular to try. You get to experience a bunch of varieties and can identify them later if you need to. I highly recommend watching Garden Answer on YouTube for a good balance of using common sense and good practices while not going crazy with maintenance, especially if you need to set up targeted watering. I learned my entire drip irrigation education from her and did it all by myself, which if you knew me, you'd be impressed. She has a great system for labeling, storing, overwintering, and always credits where she found the method, as well as where she got the variety. It will help you with identifying too.
Good luck everyone, give it a try and don't be discouraged. Gardening is a joyful process of learning, watching and waiting.
All five bloomed as pictured! The light pink & white had SO many blooms, but the larger varieties only began blooming end of October, which is end of season in my area (planted beginning of May). Truly a gift in Sept and Oct to have such incredible blooms. I am new to gardening and these were easy. Time to dig up!
I agree with the other reviews on this one. Cafe au lait and Kona were busts on this set. The flowers on the ones that did take off were very nice quality.
I haven't bought just one type of dahlia yet from them but I definitely won't do a set again.

I really really wish that these came labeled. This is about my 4th or 5th mix of dahlias that I have bought and there are NEVER any labels.
This last batch, Cafe con Leche Mix, was seriously disappointing. I had 3 of 5 come up. Like someone else said The two white ones did great but alone they're a pretty boring addition to the garden. I never saw Sweet Natalie or Cafe Au Lait (The main reason for purchasing this mix) It would definitely be nice to have labels, then you could tell early on in the season what's not doing well and replace it with the same or something else. You have to wait until they bloom to know what you're getting and by then it's too late to plant more.

I had high hopes for this mix but, sadly, only 3 got a few blooms from 3 of the 5 varieties that were supposed to be included.

As many people have said here, I wish I had been able to read reviews before buying, but when I purchased in late summer 2022, there weren't any! The two stars of this mix are, of course, Sweet Nathalie and Cafe Au Lait, and those were DEFINITELY not included. The box arrived with a jumble of unlabeled tubers, and I struggled to even find 5 distinct, viable tubers to plant. In fairness, a plain, white ball (Kona?) and a small lavender ball (Wizard of Oz?) are thriving, but that left me with two that are struggling (foliage but no flowers) and one that rotted. All are planted in the same bed with the same light and water conditions. So, in the end, I paid ~$40 for two run-of-the-mill ball dahlias. Disappointing, and definitely not worth it. Would recommend sticking with reputable, local purveyors!

Not accurate and each dahlia group unlabeled. Disappointed when given one that did not come up at all and another one that struggled.

I've noticed my mixed dahlia orders are not comparable to what they say you'll actually get. The plants themselves did fantastic, very tall and healthy. But what you get is not the same as what they say in included, I'm averaging on 2/5 or 3/5 are actually what Eden says in in the mix.
