It also looks lovely basking in the sun in front of white or gray-painted homes; this is a pink that pops!

I’ve only gotten one bloom from one plant so far, but man was she a beauty! I can’t wait for more blooms! The other tuber never came up.

Tons of neat, beautiful, blooms. Color is like the orange in the first picture and gets deeper, almost burnt-orange and copper, at least for me in zone 5b (looks a little more reddish in pictures). It's a great color for late summer/fall. Will be saving these for next year!

The tubers were in great condition and grew perfectly. My only issue is that these are much more of a mustard yellow and orange rather than a pastel yellow and peach. I would not have picked this variety if I would have seen a truer picture of them.

Dahlia Tubers (Ball) - Jowey Nicky

Store owner replied: Hello Lena. We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. We are glad to hear that these dahlia tubers arrived in great condition and grew well, though we're sorry the bloom color wasn't what you were expecting. Dahlia flower color can be influenced by growing conditions, including temperature, sunlight, and soil conditions. Cooler temperatures often produce richer, more saturated colors, while warmer weather can soften or slightly shift the intensity of the blooms. That said, Jowey Nicky is classified as an orange dahlia, and variation within shades of apricot, peach, mustard, and orange is considered normal. We appreciate you bringing the website photo to our attention, and we've shared your feedback with our website team to review whether the images accurately represent the range of colors customers can expect. We also reached out by email to offer a resolution but haven't heard back yet. We'd still be happy to help because we want you to be happy with your purchase from Eden Brothers. Please reply to our original email if you'd like to discuss the resolution options available. We stand behind our products and appreciate you bringing this to our attention!

Neither of my Jowey Nicky tubers even got a leaf sprout . All my others did, just not the Jowey Nicky’s.
