This year's dahlia order from Eden Brothers has been incredibly disappointing. Two varieties I ordered were sent to me labeled as what I ordered, but bloomed as something completely different, including this "La Belle Epoque". Out of the varieties on the Eden Brothers website, it most closely resembles Milena Fleur, and is certainly not a cactus variety like La Belle Epoque.

Store owner replied: Hello Kyley. Thank you for your review. We are sorry that your dahlia bloomed so differently from the variety you were expecting. We appreciate the photo you provided, as it clearly helps us. While growing conditions can sometimes influence dahlia color, they would not typically cause this type of substantial difference in overall flower form. Varietal accuracy is extremely important to us, and we have shared your photo and experience with our Quality Control team, who are working directly with our grower to investigate how this mix-up may have occurred. We are glad our Customer Care team was able to provide a resolution and truly appreciate you documenting the bloom for us. Feedback and photos like yours help us address accuracy concerns with our growers and work to prevent similar experiences in the future!

I planted these a few days after they arrived, and both tubers had visible growth within a few weeks. I'm in zone 5b, and I had my first few blooms last week. These are so gorgeous, and I'm so glad I ordered these this year. Flowers are true to the colors in the photos. I pinched my plants when they were about a foot tall, and I have dozens of blooms about to open now in mid-July. Highly recommend!

Really disappointed as the tubers had leafy gall. I’ve requested a refund from Eden Brothers but haven’t heard back from customer service yet.

I ordered 6 different types of dahlias and a total of 12 tubers. Only 2 grew and they looked nothing like what I ordered.
