Your zip code tells us your USDA Hardiness Zone — and your zone tells us the rest. We'll show you which plants are annuals or perennials right where you garden, and filter our full catalog down to what's actually built for your growing conditions.
A stunning dark purple pompon, Moor Place Dahlias produce a prolific display of the most charming cake pop style blooms. Dahlia plants actually bloom more when pruned, so by cutting stems down to the crease to make vase arrangements or even just to dead head, you can expect blooms from midsummer through fall. Plan for Moor Place Dahlia plants to reach up to 36 inches high with a 12- to 18-inch spread.
We guarantee that our seeds & bulbs will be true to type and ready to thrive. If something doesn't grow as expected, we will make it right. Questions? Call us at 855-440-2929
These have been a very fun dahlia to grow. I didn’t realize that they were a Mini ball. Imagine my surprise when they started blooming. Not the most attractive plant for a focal point but a good background and cutting flower. I will grow them again as they are adorable <3
I purchased Moor Place, Small World, and Wizard of Oz dahlias from Eden Bros to replenish my stock that I lost due to virus last year. All of the tubers looked great and were viable upon receipt. However, I just had to cull both Moor Place tubers due to signs of virus. No other plants in my patch are showing signs of virus so I think I caught it in time before it spread…fingers crossed. With my sanitizing practices, keeping these dahlias separated from others, and it being so early in the season (zone 6b), there’s a very strong chance that these tubers were not virus free upon receiving them.

A real beauty. Moor Place grew to 2 feet tall with small deeply red/maroon balls on long stems. A few blooms had a few white or pink petals. Each ball opened slowly and were well worth the wait. I had to place an early Halloween decoration in the pot to deter Mr. squirrel.
These were exactly what I was hoping for with purchase. They are cute pom pom ball shaped dahlias. The are small and beautiful additions to my vases. They also keep for several days in the vase if you pick at the right time. LOVE!

Hello Sally I. Thank you for your review of Eden Brothers. We're happy to hear the plants are healthy and blooming. Pompon dahlias naturally have smaller, ball-shaped blooms, but they add beautiful structure and color to the garden. We hope they continue to flourish for you all season long!
A majority of the tubers they sent were clearly non-viable. The few tubers that did come up had blight. I’ve been growing dahlias for a decade now. I planted the Eden Brothers tubers away from my other flowers so I’m hoping it doesn’t infect my other tubers I’ve worked so hard to keep year after year. If you’re passionate about dahlias, you know how dangerous an infection can be. If I could rate this 0, I would.
