Customer photo review of Dahlia Tubers (Ball & Decorative) - Shirley Mix

I enjoy huying dahlias from Eden brothers because they always grow so well. This mix, i was excited about. When i recieved the tubers this soring they looked great and i started them infors and replanted outdoors like always. They took off and finally started blooming and i patiently waited to see each variety, only to be dissapointed when four of them were the same pink pearl variety. Only one was a different variety. The plants and quality ate great, but i wasnt expecting so many plants of the same variety and it was disappointing.

Store owner replied: Hello Courtney R. Thank you for sharing your experience and for continuing to choose Eden Brothers for your dahlias. We’re glad to hear the tubers arrived in great condition and grew into healthy, beautiful plants, but we understand how disappointing it was to patiently wait for a mixed assortment only to have several similar varieties instead. That is certainly not the variety we want our customers to experience from a mix. We are glad we were able to provide a resolution, and we have also shared the details with our Quality Control team so they can follow up with the growers who pre-pack these mixes for us and review varietal accuracy. We truly appreciate you bringing this to our attention and hope your next dahlia assortment delivers the exciting range of blooms you were expecting!

I bought this mix for the variety, and while the ones that have grown are doing beautifully, 2 of the 5 did nothing. I was confident based on the tubers' appearance that they were not going to do anything, and my suspicions were correct. The Pink Runner and Evanah are producing wonderful flowers, the third I am waiting on.

While I care for all of my dahlias carefully, these just haven't come up nicely at all. I feed them and water, but so far I'm disappointed.

Planted all five of my tubers at the same time, in the same soil, same area, same sun and water conditions, and only two of them sprouted. It’s hard to tell which dahlias exactly the are, but they most closely resemble Pink Runner and Gerrie Hoek, but both have more of an orange/coral hue than the picture shows, as well.

I ordered this batch of bulbs and two others and only one is the correct color. Either these were improperly labeled or the pictures are very inaccurate. Very disappointed.

I ordered several items and this was the only one that did not sprout. Very disappointing. Tubers appeared dried out and would not Prespout all my other orderes the tubers were excellent. It may just be a mishap with this one

I have the same experience as the other reviewer. Only two of these bloomed, and I grow a lot of dahlias. Maybe it was just a bad batch.

This was my 1st time growing Dahlias, out of the 5 tubers that arrived, only 2 have bloomed. Gerrie Hoek and Wizard of Oz. Both are beautiful, but I wish the other 3 came up too
