    I'm exceedingly disappointed in these seeds -- the plants are all well over the 12" height described. Most are 22" to over 4+' tall! It's ridiculous. I had hoped I found a reputable source of FRENCH -- AKA SHORT marigolds -- because I didn't want the giant, leggy variety. I received the seeds and planted around the first week of June. Good germination, but it is now Aug 18 and these 2-4' tall plants are only now showing buds. The photos I included are with a yardstick for scale.

    First set of seeds no germination. I admit I covered the seeds lightly but after research should not have. Also used heat mat and humidity domes. Started over with remaining seeds two out a full pack germinate. Would not buy more.

    I love these flowers. They germinate fast, grow quickly. I have planted them for spring flowers and again for fall flowers. Always hardy, bright and cheerful. I have also taken cuttings of them in mid summer they also grow well. One of the hardiest, least -fussy flowers I have ever grown. Very dependable and colorful

    Bought these last year and put them between the rows of vegetables...come July wears my veggies?? I had a huge, overflowing garden of Marigolds. It was beautiful! This year I bought more only this time I left out the veggies and planted all Marigolds...they are up already within just a few days. I followed the directions provided and they were easy to grow, great product and great service, will purchase more in the future. Thank you, it is lots of fun.
