I planted these once and the following spring they grew so big! Absolutely loved them. They did however only last 3 years though. I don’t know if it was my neglecting the soil or a bad winter. I will still repurchase though. It was still worth several seasons.
Love these bulbs. Easy and requires minimal attention.
I live in Southwest Idaho. I am an experienced Gardner. I did not expect them to be as tall as they were. I am 5 foot tall and they are almost over my head. Very happy with these giant Allium. Everyone I planted came up. I did order some smaller ones, but they did not germinate as well as the Giants.
Planted the bulbs as directed in the fall. Only leaves and no flowers grew. Very disappointing.

The bulbs were healthy and 3 out the 4 bulbs sprouted and bloomed, but they are not even remotely close to the “giant” gladiator alliums depicted in the stock photo. I got these because I wanted the height and size, but they’re quite subdued. I like them, but wouldn’t get them again. Check out the photo next to my hand for a rough size comparison…nothing like the ones pictured with the child in the stock photo!

Extremely disappointed in the process. I never received my Allium Bulbs and had to accept a refund because there were none left. There should have been a packing slip or an email telling me what to expect in my shipment, but there was not. Being very new to the process I just assumed they (the Allium) would be arriving in a few weeks. Well they never did, and when I looked into it and reached out to the company, of course my bulbs were already planted in someone else's garden. These would have been my first Alliums and because of that and the discount I was receiving I was very excited. But they never came and I got my money back. The only problem with that is, $ doesn't bloom. Changes that need to be made.... (1) I should have been offer the first bulbs off of next years run and at least one bulb extra because of your error and my inconvenience. (2) a packing slip or notification through email, should have been received so I know what to expect in the box and when it coming, so possibly the error could have been corrected immediately and I have my bulbs and be a satisfied customer. Again, being a new gardener, I thought... OK, it's not time to plant the Allium, they will be sending them on later and because there was no packing slip why should I think anything different. I say this with all honesty... your prices are top shelf, your services needs to be so as well. Thanks you for your time.

I bought these hoping they would also be large, tall and focal point of my garden. Followed all the planting instructions and....nada. Super disappointed :(

I paid up for what was supposed to be the focal piece of the bed. Not even a sprout. I know every purchase comes with a risk, but it seems to be that Eden brothers might be a big portion of the problem here. There are better options at better prices out there that deliver better results. Shop somewhere else, I'd rather lose $20 than $100 any day.

I bought 16 of these and planted them in perfect conditions. None came up.

All my friends tell me they LOVE the giant allium. They are beautiful! They are the highlight of my garden!
Beautiful large blooms! All of them came up. I ordered two different types, purple and white, I put them in between/behind my hostas.
Planted 10 bulbs and only got 3 flowers

1 star for the 1 plant that came up of the 5 bulbs planted. Yes I did get an extra bulb but it didn't produce either.

Looking forward to these beautiful bulbs but the bulbs won't be delivered until approximately September 2015.
I bought these bulbs for a sunny strip by our vegetable garden that the deer ravish each year. The deer didn't touch these allium and they held their beautiful spherical shape long after the purple faded which provided textural interest throughout the summer. I started with 10 bulbs, and this year I have 19 sprouts, so the bounty almost doubled. Excellent product for those with little gardening skills, pesky deer and a reverence for nontraditional flowers.
