I had good luck with Mexican Feather Grass germination last year but lost most of the small plants due to my own poor planning. i planted other plants too close and didn’t notice that the grasses were being crowded out. The ones that succeeded are still healthy, and i am purchasing seeds again with intention to give them sufficient attention, space and sunlight!
Germination rate was lower than I was expecting, but those that did germinate grew very quickly.

Very easy to grow. I germinated four clumps of grass from the seeds, planted them, and basically walked away. They have thrived in my garden.
These germinated beautifully indoors under my grow light, but they did not withstand the first 2 mild mornings in May when I tried to harden them off in shade. They basically disappeared in the container by the 2nd day. I'm considering buying again. I'd love to add this to my landscape by fall.

These seeds are tiny! I over seeded a container for 6 and thinned out once the plants were strong but not root bound. I was able to easily divide into 25 plants. I love this plant! Retail price for each for a qt gallon pot is $7.99 so still a win! Will definitely purchase again!
I was so excited for these but not one came up. I was very disappointed.
