Of the whole packet, only 5 seeds germinated. I started over 1000 seeds successfully this year. It’s not my mix, it’s not me, it’s the seeds. They shouldn’t be selling these.

Store owner replied: Hello Kelley. Thank you for sharing your experience with these seeds. We are very sorry to hear about the low germination, especially after your success starting many other seeds this season. Asters can sometimes be sensitive to cool temperatures, fluctuating moisture, or planting depth, as they generally germinate best with light soil coverage and consistent warmth. Uneven germination can also occasionally occur depending on sowing conditions. We truly appreciate your feedback and will be sharing it with both our seed suppliers and our on-staff horticulturist for further review. We previously reached out but have not yet heard back, so please feel free to reply to the original email or contact our customer service team if you would still like assistance. We always stand behind our seeds and want our customers to have success in their gardens!
