Meh. One or two scrappy misshapen flowers and all scrubby looking leaves. I planted this in the ground and in pots direct sow. The results are terrible. Won’t be buying these again.

Daisy Seeds (Painted) - Rainbow Mix
Store owner replied: Hello Deb Elle. Thank you for sharing this with us. We are sorry this mix produced such sparse, misshapen flowers and disappointing growth. The photo is helpful and does show an irregular bloom along with foliage that appears stressed and somewhat damaged. Painted Daisies generally perform best in full sun and well-draining soil, and young plants can struggle with high heat, inconsistent moisture, overly wet soil, or pest feeding; stress while a flower bud is developing can also result in malformed blooms. For future growers, keeping the seedbed evenly moist during establishment, avoiding soggy conditions, providing good airflow and full sun, and checking foliage and developing buds for insect activity can help. We have included it in the resolution set up for you and truly appreciate the photo and growing details, as they help us better evaluate concerns like this. We hope the next varieties you grow bring you a much healthier and more colorful display!
The flower i have is beautiful. Not for the faint of heart. Ill try again.

Daisy Seeds (Painted) - Rainbow Mix
Store owner replied: Hello Julia Crane. Thank you for your review of Eden Brothers! We greatly appreciate you bringing this to our attention. It's so important to have feedback like this so we can continually improve our products and planting instructions. While painted daisies can be slow to establish and sometimes germinate unevenly in your area, we understand how disappointing these results must be. We’re glad to hear you’re considering a fall sowing, as the natural winter chill and spring rains can often encourage stronger, more uniform growth. After speaking with our Customer Service Team, it seems we were able to help you with this, and we are here if you need any additional help. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us!
They did not grow and those that sorta grew produced disfigured flowers. Note, zinnias and bachelor buttons grew successfully in the same patch.

Daisy Seeds (Painted) - Rainbow Mix
Store owner replied: Hello Renee K. Thank you for your review. We are sorry this mix didn’t perform as expected. Painted Daisies can establish more slowly than fast-growing annuals like zinnias and bachelor buttons, and heat or moisture stress or pest activity during bud development can sometimes contribute to weak growth or misshapen flowers. However, we appreciate the comparison with your other successful flowers, as that is helpful context when evaluating the results. For future growers, Painted Daisies do best with plenty of sun, well-draining soil, and consistent moisture during establishment without remaining soggy. We’re glad we had the opportunity to provide a resolution and make this one right. Thank you for sharing your experience and for your support through the years, as we truly appreciate having you as part of the Eden Brothers gardening community and hope your next planting brings much happier results!
Poor seed read planting instructions dams seed didn’t come up and never refunded my money or debit card. This year left my debit card open seeking advice from a friend.

Put painted daisy seeds down & nothing has come up at all. We’ve had great success with our zinnia seeds but are so disappointed with these seeds as well as the sunflower seeds.

Daisy Seeds (Painted) - Rainbow Mix
Store owner replied: Hello Jen B. Thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear that your Painted Daisy and sunflower seeds did not germinate, especially since you've had such great success with your zinnias this season. Painted Daisy seeds generally germinate best in cooler conditions and should be sown on or just barely covered with soil, as planting too deeply can reduce germination. Sunflowers, on the other hand, prefer consistently warm soil and can be affected by cool temperatures, heavy rainfall, poor seed-to-soil contact, or allowing the soil to dry out during germination. Even when different varieties are planted in the same garden, each has its own germination requirements, which can sometimes lead to different results. We are glad we were able to connect with you directly and provide a resolution that you were happy with. Thank you for your feedback, and we hope you continue to enjoy your beautiful zinnias while having even greater success with future plantings!
I bought a packet of these daisies plus a packet of Mexican Sour Gherkin Cucumbers, I planted some of each over 3 weeks ago, nothing has come up. I planted them as the packet said and I bring them in the house ever night, because it is still a little cool here. A waste of money.

Daisy Seeds (Painted) - Rainbow Mix
Store owner replied: Hello Joseph Rocque. Thank you for sharing your experience. We are sorry to hear you have not yet seen germination from your daisies or Mexican Sour Gherkin Cucumbers. In cooler conditions, both varieties can sometimes take longer to sprout, especially if soil temperatures fluctuate or remain below their preferred germination range. Mexican Sour Gherkins in particular prefer very warm conditions and can be somewhat slow and inconsistent to germinate early in the season. Repeatedly moving containers indoors and outdoors can also occasionally create temperature and moisture fluctuations that delay sprouting. We appreciate the opportunity to provide growing tips and an offer of a resolution for you, but have not yet heard back Please feel free to reply to the original email, or contact our customer service team, if you would still like additional assistance. We always stand behind our seeds and genuinely want our customers to have success in their gardens!

What a bummer. I paid a neighbor $50 to grow these in her greenhouse until they could be planted outside in June (mountainous zone 4) and they are almost all yellow, a few white and yellow ones, plus one that's an icky rust color. None are anything like the photo. I was aiming for big visual impact so I planted and grew a ton of them, including having to plant them all in wire gopher-resistant baskets. What a huge waste of time and resources to have my garden look awful in a sea of hideous yelllow. Might as well have just planted hardy Shasta daisies, which are at least perennials for all the expense and hard work I put into these. I pray they do not reseed!

I have purchased several seeds from Eden Bros, all with limited success. The Daisy’s were a total failure. Nothing. Listen, I’m NOT a master gardener. But I’m also not a complete idiot. Could it be poor soil quality, not enough sunlight, rabbits? Yes to all, especially the rabbits. And where I live in the Midwest the last several years have been brutal hot with little rain in the months of July and August. It’s not just the flowers, the grass takes a beating as well. Having said that, I have Black Eyed Susan’s and others in my garden that have volunteered and do quite well. I’m thinking about going a different route this fall and getting some Lilly varieties. But if those also disappoint I’m out. Sorry.

It’s insights like yours that help us improve our products and planting instructions. We’re glad to see our Customer Service Team was able to follow up with you, and provide some assistance. Great long lasting flower for summer. I planted them along a fence row facing the street. Easy. Low water.

Started indoors under grow lamp in seed starting mix. These hardened off beautifully and continue to bloom and grow.

Wow! I direct sowed my seeds in spring. I started to get blooms in summer all the way though until fall. The colors are a show stopper. A definite repeat in my garden.
