I love poppies and have grown them for years. I was trying for a new color. These never came out of the ground.

I was SO excited for these beautiful poppies! Followed all the planting instructions and it started to come up but then failed to thrive. Got about 2 weeks of some greenery but no taller than an inch or two, and then it disappeared. I hope it pops up next spring, but I doubt it. The roots are expensive and I was hoping for pretty poppies. Disappointed since I love Eden Brothers and usually have great experiences.

I planted these in Oct as instructed and was excited to see foliage by MId nOv. However, that was all I got- some greenery, no stems, and no flowers. Do these only bloom during the second spring? If so that information should be clear in the description, as I planned this bed around papavers and had none to show for it. This also happened with the Patty Plum roots I planted at the same time. All other plants in the bed thrived.
