Customer photo review of Peony Roots - Pink Sunrise Mix

I purchased 12 plants and 2 years later 8 are growing. Unfortunately when they bloom in the spring, they're only one color, not the variation i was expecting. The plants are quite healthy. I keep them watered and mulched and hope to have them around a long time.

Store owner replied: Hello, Debbie Thank you for your review of Eden Brothers! After speaking with our Customer Service Team, it seems we were able to resolve this for you. We greatly appreciate you bringing this to our attention as we strive to provide the best quality service and products to our gardeners around the country.

We bought these roots 4 years ago. Bought 12, planted as directed. 5 of them took and have produced healthy plants. Sadly, I only have one color, a light pink as opposed to the rich corals and bright pinks I was anticipating when I ordered. While I’m thankful for healthy plants, it is disheartening that I did not get the color variation as advertised. Also didn’t get as many plants as hoping either. We live in 6A-6B zone.

Lush first year greenery but no blooms which is common with transplant. Will come back when blooms produce hopefully next spring.

Peony Roots - Pink Sunrise Mix

This is my second year with these peonies, and admittedly only one has blooms so far. That being said, the blooms are a deep red color and not pink or coral which was terribly disappointing. I'm hoping the other three are pink/coral when they bloom.

This is my very first year growing peonies, and I ordered this Pink Sunrise mix in early spring, zone 6b Kentucky. The bundle of 4 roots came and I even planted a wimpy little extra one that was in the bag... and all 5 have emerged from the ground! They appear strong and healthy despite my inexperience. I am looking after them carefully and am so excited to eventually see them bloom. Thanks for the extra root! :)
