    Okay this is an update on my raspberry sundae roots. I bought a pack of 5 of these in January (I live in zone 8b, the ground can be worked) and have moved them to a raised garden. They went through some shock sadly but I’m not surprised. However, I’m getting 4 blooms this spring! And this one just popped out of nowhere overnight! Isn’t she stunning! I wasn’t expecting blooms this year, but I suppose the roots were quite mature (2 out of 5 roots are producing). I just got lucky. Thanks Eden Brothers!

    I was really excited about these peony roots. I ordered 5 of them and all of them were so healthy and beautiful. They all had 2 or more eyes and some were already sprouting! Since I’ve planted them last month, they’ve grown so fast! I know I’ll need to put them in a more suitable spot than my makeshift garden bed. I also protected them from some freezes we experienced here in northeast tx zone 8b. I can’t wait to get blooms the following year, it’s going to be so worth it. Thanks for healthy roots!
