Customer photo review of Peony Roots - Red Charm

Kind of bummed. I bought a few peony roots back in 2023, and they all came up white.

    Peony Roots - Red Charm

Store owner replied: Hello Kathy. Thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear that your Red Charm peony did not bloom as expected. Looking at your order history, we see that you purchased both a Red Charm peony and a white peony variety in 2023, so we'd love to learn a bit more about what you're seeing. We previously reached out to gather additional information and offer a resolution but have not yet heard back. If you'd still like assistance, please reply to that email and we'd be happy to help investigate further. At Eden Brothers, we stand behind our products and want our customers to be successful and be enjoying what they ordered for their gardens. Thank you for bringing this to our attention, and we look forward to helping you!

Customer photo review of Peony Roots - Red Charm

Totally bummed after patiently waiting 3 years for the peony to mature, and it’s pink instead of red. Although beautiful, I specifically purchased this peony root for the red color as a Mother’s Day present for my mom who always wanted a red peony plant. This is the second time I’ve purchased from Eden Brothers and the color advertised was inaccurate. I think I’m done giving this company my business.

    Peony Roots - Red Charm

Store owner replied: Hello Chloe. Thank you for sharing your experience, and we sincerely apologize for the disappointment! We completely understand how frustrating it is to wait several years for a peony to mature, especially when it was intended as a meaningful gift, We truly appreciate you bringing this to our attention, and we are glad we were able to provide a refund for you. We always stand behind our products and continuously work with our growers to minimize variety mix-ups, which can occasionally happen with dormant roots that cannot be visually identified before blooming. We genuinely value your feedback and appreciate the opportunity to make things right!

Customer photo review of Peony Roots - Red Charm

I try to focus on deep or true reds in the part of the yard I wanted to put this peony. It didn’t bloom the first year, which is normal. But it made my anticipation for the two buds I have in the second year even more. Now it is finally blooming and is beautiful, but the color I have does not line up with the color in the photo. I have it in a container so I can just move it to another part of the yard, but wanted to share my experience. One photo with a truer red petunia for comparison.

Store owner replied: Hello Lexie. Thank you for your review of Eden Brothers! We greatly appreciate you bringing this to our attention. It's so important to have feedback like this so we can continually improve our products and processes. After speaking with our Customer Service Team, it seems we were able to resolve this for you. Thanks for your time in sharing your experience with us and we are sorry for any inconvenience!

The peonies I planted have not grown or even started to grow from beginning of planting. I’m very disappointed. Very disappointed since I followed all directions for planting. I have purchased dahlias and they are growing. Any suggestions for peonies? Very very disappointed ! I spent a lot of money on these peonies. I would like replacements.

    Peony Roots - Red Charm

Store owner replied: Hello Toni W. Thank you for your review of Eden Brothers! Feedback like yours is invaluable, as it helps us continually improve our products and planting instructions. Peonies can be slow to establish, but in Zone 9, they also face additional challenges: spring planting in a warm climate can delay or even prevent sprouting, as peonies need a period of winter chill to fully break dormancy. After checking in with our Customer Service Team, it looks like we were able to assist you further. Thanks again for taking the time to share your experience with us and hope you have a beautiful growing season!
