This peony was beautiful and surprisingly bloomed the first season. Less cupped shaped and more open than pictured. Bloomed late spring in Delaware.

Apricot Whisper Peonies are a stunning variety of peony that are highly prized for their delicate beauty and charming pastel color, reminiscent of a spring sunrise or a warm summer day. Apricot Whisper features large, fragrant blooms that range in color from soft apricot to creamy yellow, with a hint of pink in the center. The flowers are single-flowered, with a layer of petals that surround a center of golden stamens. They typically flower in late spring or early summer and continue blooming for several weeks, providing a beautiful and long-lasting display. Instead of whispering, you'll be shouting from the rooftops about their beauty.

Second year of blooms, had 3 flowers bloom this spring, the first year was only one. Also, this year the flowers were huge, like about 6 inches in diameter, beautiful pink with swirls of very pale pink. Love it.

Same experience here as previous users.. I planted apricot whisper and I got a peony with red color petals. Not sure what peony is this? Is this the flame peony? Has a light pleasant scent. Petals close when it gets colder/cloudy.

Store owner replied: Hello Pela. Thank you for sharing your experience with this peony. We understand how disappointing it is to receive blooms that do not match the expected variety. A small batch from our 2024 inventory was unfortunately mislabeled by the grower, which resulted in some customers receiving a red-flowered peony that closely resembles Flame Peony instead of Apricot Whisper. This issue has since been identified and corrected with the supplier. We have reached out to offer a resolution, but if you still need assistance, please don’t hesitate to respond to our email, as we are always happy to help and stand behind our products. Peonies are long-lived perennials that can continue maturing and improving over several growing seasons, but we completely understand the importance of receiving the correct variety from the start. We truly appreciate your patience and hope we get the opportunity to make this right!
I ordered several of these. Roots were small to begin with. They started to bloom this year and they are absolutely not what I ordered. They are all a dark hot pink color. Same shape, but certainly not Apricot Whisper.

Ordered and planted in the fall, it bloomed early April. It was nice but I expected a more pale pink, it did turn slightly lighter color towards the end of blooming. Would buy again from Eden Brothers as I like the quality of their plants.

I ordered this Apricot Whisper peony last summer, planted it in the fall as usual. I had 3 buds which was great for a newly planted root. I was so excited to see this lovely soft double flowered apricot bloom this spring. What I got was a red peony. Not what I wanted and not what I ordered. Very disappointed.

the plant bloomed the first year but I got a shocking pink peony not the muted apricot/white I was expecting. Pretty disappointing as I planned my garden in color waves.
