Only after I ordered, I noticed the reviews about poor germination. Oops. But I'm here to report that this hack gardener planted a packet in seed trays about a week ago (spring '26) and I'm getting very good germination. Lots of little red seedlings are poking up through the soil surface!
I, too, wish I had read the reviews before I purchased these seeds. I tried some under a grow light to transplant, direct sow in my garden and also some in 4 different planters. One single seed, in a planter, germinated. I followed instructions...totally babied them, to no avail. I would think, that with only poor reviews, you would stop selling them. I have had great successwith all my other seeds I purchased from you!

I gave these little seeds my all. We had egg cartons all over my kitchen trying to get them to grow before transplanting. They were very carefully tended according to the instructions and not one seed germinated.

I should have read the review on this one. But yep never germinated. I thought I did something wrong but I'm not the only one.

I planted the seeds and followed instructions in two different planters, and not a single sprout... it looked so beautiful in the photos, but what a disappointment...

I've bought 3 packages of seeds and had very poor germination results. I've tried different methods with the same results, about 5%. I was very excited to grow these for my patio planters this year but will have to try something else. If anyone has hints to get this to germinate please comment and help a girl out!

I am so disappointed that out of a whole flat of seeds planted I only have one seedling that has germinated. I pressed the seed into the seed starting mix, kept the tray watered from the bottom, and placed on a heat mat, under lights, but only one seedling has emerged. I planted the seed on 3/12 and it is now 4/4. I had visions of this lovely in my garden this year, but it's not looking promising!
