Very disappointed for wasting $60 + shipping. I ordered the Bees Wildflower Mix as part of a larger flower/vegetable seed order. The plan was to plant around our honey bee hives. I carefully followed the online instructions and video provided, including water requirements. The picture shows the current state of our wildflower garden. Not sure who’s more disappointed; our bees or I.

The baby sunflowers are thriving. Echinacia is growing well. Other flowers I don't know the name are blooming well. The best thing is seeing bees on the flowers.

Very few blooms. Mostly just look like weeds.

Store owner replied: Hello Wes B. Thank you for your review. We're sorry to hear that your wildflower planting didn't produce the colorful display you were hoping for. A 50/50 wildflower mix contains both annuals and perennials, and the different species germinate and mature at different rates. Many of the perennial varieties spend their first season establishing roots and foliage before producing abundant blooms, while dormant weed seeds already present in the soil can germinate quickly after the ground is disturbed, making a new planting appear weedy. Careful site preparation, good seed-to-soil contact, and consistent moisture during germination all help the wildflowers establish more successfully. We'd still be happy to help troubleshoot what may have happened if you change your mind and want to send in photos of the planting area. At Eden Brothers, we stand behind our products and are committed to helping our gardeners succeed. We appreciate your feedback and the opportunity to learn from your experience.

I purchased several pounds in spring 2019 to plant in one of our pastures. Proper soil prep mixed with some timely rain produced super germination and seedling quickly. I was very happy with the assortment of flowers that continued blooming the entire summer. The majority of the flowers were over 3 feet and were really sturdy and held up well to summer storms Best part was that I scored major points w the Mrs!!!

This mix we purchased was just planted this spring, came up very well and fast. It's being visited daily by birds, bees and butterflies just as it was intended. I will definitely order more of this!

The Bees Knees - Pollinator Wildflower Seed Mix

I roughed up some sloped areas in my vegie garden, sewed the seeds, and drug the rake back over to partially cover the seed, I planted just before a spring rain, and I do have drip spray head which irrigate them now. I had great germination, with lots of variety from cosmos to alyssum, sunflower and others. We have a bee hive and I wanted to provide flowers for the bees.

I purchased 2 lbs. of seeds and planted them at the end of April and now I have a meadow of seedling coming up. I'm very happy. I will keep you informed as the year progresses. thanks
