I should have read the reviews more carefully. I bought 18 and only 50% actually bloomed. Of those that bloomed only one out of all 18 actually looked healthy and good. The rest were half as small or half unbloomed. So disappointing.

Beautiful globes…bulbs planted in October in 6b. All ten came up and are in full bloom now in May. Very happy campers.

Hello Anthony F. Thank you for sharing your experience. We’re sorry to hear the allium did not perform well for you. In warmer climates like Zone 11, alliums can sometimes struggle, as they typically require a period of cooler temperatures to establish and bloom successfully. We’re glad we were able to provide a resolution and appreciate you giving them a try. As always, we stand by our bulbs and are here to help if you need anything!
These were SO fun to watch as they bloomed! Having no experience with Alliums - I learned that the globe shape is made up of tiny individual star-like blooms. They are a beautiful deep purple that I was so happy with. I received tons of compliments on these flowers! I was also surprised by how pretty the greens are. We always notice the blooms but from their early growth, the greens were great color alone!
The purple sensation allium bulbs I received from Eden Brothers were 5 to 6 cm. , not the 12 cm+ in the listing. I would have included a photo of them in the bag, but I just planted them. I am not hopeful for 36” tall flowers in the next year or two if ever. I will compliment the clear bag packaging printed with the name and planting dept, but spacing info would have been nice too. The vent holes in the bag and the opening in the back of the bag to remove them is helpful. Sadly, I had misplaced the bulbs, so I am grateful my husband found them. Looking forward to my first allium bulb flowers!

These are much higher than 36 inches. I’m 5 foot tall and standing by them and they almost reached over my head. Almost every bulb I planted last fall came up this spring. I live in SW Idaho.

While these are pretty, I was so surprised that they bloomed in early Spring before pollinators were around. Then the flower was gone and therefore I got no joy from having these. They are a quick one and done type of bulb so therefore I would not plant again. I am in zone 7A. Disappointed.
Got a small sprout the first year. Nothing the second. I would order from a website with a better policy - most will send new plants. Eden brothers doesn’t stand by their products!

I planted these late and they still performed well, with blooms about 3 1/2" across. I find that these relatively small flowers provide a great start for a floral display, so next Spring they will be planted in a cutting garden.
