I'm fairly new to gardening and thought these flowers would look very pretty in some pots. I bought 20 and a handful did bloom. There were some deep reds in the romantic mix that were beautiful. In the mornings I noticed a pleasing light fragrance from these flowers. Maybe next year more flowers will appear from the corms.
2 out of 2 Ranunculi and zero blooms. I wanted to have 2 others types in the garden but now I have to ask is it the corms or is it that they just can't grow in Central Virginia with the late frosts and the hot and humid springs.

I’m in Nashville (7b), planted these in the fall behind my coreopsis. I covered them with a towel during a hard freeze. They came up beautifully in the spring. All my corms produced flowers. They were extremely beautiful, fluttery, tall flowers.
I am OBSESSED! I was worried about weather or not I would be successful at growing them here in Ga and all I can say is 10/10 ! I lost 2 of the 60 corms and the plants are so healthy and blooms utterly amazing.
I purchased 4 different packs of Ranunculas. Two I gave for a gift and the other two I planted. The romantic mix and bridal mix were very disappointing. Many of the corms did not sprout even though I followed the instructions provided. In addition, the colors were not even as pictured on the website. The “coral / salmon” was an ordinary orange with yellow hue and the pink were regular pink rather than a soft pink color. I was disappointed with my purchase as it was my first order with Eden Brothers. In the future I could get the same colored ranunculas at my local hardware store.

Same review as everyone else…terrible neon colors. So far I have bright yellow and orange blooms. None of the beautiful pastel pinks and apricots. Less than 50% germination out of the corms but at least I got some blooms. Unhappy with this purchase and this is the second item from Eden bros that the photo color has been wildly misrepresented.

Purchased 20 of these and not a single one grew. I’m not sure if that’s due to gardening error. I have experience planting/growing most things.

We understand how disappointing that is. Ranunculus generally performs best in cool, mild conditions, so spring planting in Zone 8 can sometimes be challenging as temperatures warm quickly. If corms encounter prolonged warmth soon after planting, establishment and blooming may be reduced. Excessive spring rainfall, poor drainage, or inconsistent moisture can also affect growth. For the best results, many Zone 8 gardeners plant ranunculus in the fall, allowing the corms to establish over winter and produce their best blooms in early spring. If planting in spring, soaking the corms for a few hours before planting, choosing a well-drained location, and keeping the soil evenly moist can help improve success. We're grateful you reached out and gave us the chance to help. Thank you for your feedback, and we hope your garden continues to bring you joy throughout the season!

I've tried these twice now and both were failures. Not a single one grew. Very disappointing because the pictures on the website are lovely.

There were way too many very small corms (almost half). Not sure if it’s the variety since this is a mix. I pre-sprouted and only half showed signs of growth. 3/20 were not viable and was removed. After a month, 5 showed great growth but the tiny size corms are slow. Hopefully they will catch up and the colors are true to pictures/descriptions.

Tough little flowers; planted with anemones. Bloomed well into fall.
Mine did not come up. At all.

Just like many others, the colors are not even close b to what I ordered. I got bright and deep pinks. Also quite small. So far only about 50% bloomed. They were shipped out way too late and although I sprouted them as soon as I got them, the hot temperatures just came too quick.

I want my Romantic Mix ranunculus to succeed so much! It is the first attempt with ranunculus. But Ithink our recent weather has thrwarted my attemps at a successful start. I started them inside in a cool room with protection over them but a through air flow around them.I waited and waited and our Maine weather delivered finally, with 70 degree days for several days. I decided it was safe to pout them out. One sprouted and I was over the moon. When I took it out of the starter tray, I dislodged one of the other twenty I started with. And it had a great root system so I decided it was safe to plant that one. In the end, I had six that were sprouted and the remainder seemed to have rotted in the tray, as the weather got rainy and I always tried to pour off the extra water. I planted the six that I found but only the one that really sprouted a green top is succeeding so far. Thank you.
I bought the corms last Fall, when I got the package, the corms seemed small, but I kept them anyway. I pre spouted my corms on 12/31/23, planted them out before the end of January '24, now I got tons of blooms, but huge blooms!! Thanks for your quality corms. By the way, this is my first time growing them and I am hooked by their beauty, will definitely grow them every spring!
Very disappointed that out of 60 ranunculas corms purchased, I only got 3 blooms. Two were orange and one was white (I bought 20 Romantic, 20 Eternal Bliss and 20 White). The silver dollar eucalyptus never bloomed either. I will say what got this review the 2 stars is that my de caan anemones are beautiful and we are loving those (though they are pretty droopy and not standing upright like expected). Otherwise we are very disappointed. :(

Only 10 out of 20 corms germinated/grew to seedling. Unsure about the bloom color, but now I’m a bit weary after reading the reviews here.

This flower sticks out like a sore thumb in my garden that has mostly pinks, purples, and whites. It is the most hideous color of orange, like a neon orange. I am sad I put all that effort into growing it and that I did not see the other reviews before I purchased it. As far as germination, not all of the corms sprouted. I would estimate about 50% of them have sprouted.

These are getting 2 stars merely because I was impressed with their performance. I showed much later than I should have in February, yet they still flowered May 13. As for color, this picture sits on a throne of lies. They are hot pink and orange, and I mean vibrant orange. Was very disappointed in that.

I am disappointed to find as these bloom that they are not the color shown in the picture. Instead of the soft salmon/pinks they are very bright orange with one or two bright pinks in the mix. The corms were a lot smaller than I expected, and the plants smaller and stems shorter than my other varieties from elsewhere. But they have grown well and the blooms are fully double despite the color being off.

Idk if I got sent the wrong corms or what but the color is orange and not rosey/peach like the pictures. Had decent growth. I don’t see how to add a photo on here.

Ordered 100 bulbs of this mix. They arrived in five small (3.5"x4") boxes with 20 corms in each. Upon opening the boxes I found 4-6 corms in each that were very small (2-3cm). They looked like fragments that broke off bigger corms, but were included in the count. In my experience these small corms don't produce as healthy a plant or as many (if any) blooms as the bigger (5-7cm) corms. Considering the price at $1.20/corm, I think they should all be full sized. I will be ordering from someplace else next year.
