Customer photo review of Siberian Iris Roots - Silver Edge

Siberian Iris Silver edge I ordered are coming up brown and yellow, Not yellow and blue. Some are correct but many are not.

Siberian Iris Roots - Silver Edge

Store owner replied: Hello Marcela G. Thank you for your review. We're sorry to hear that some of your Siberian Iris 'Silver Edge' plants did not bloom true to variety. While environmental conditions can occasionally influence flower color intensity, they would not typically account for the dramatic color differences shown in the photo you provided. Because some of your plants appear true to variety while others do not, this is certainly an unusual situation. We appreciate you taking the time to share photos and bring this to our attention. We have shared your images and feedback with our on-staff horticulturist so that he can discuss this matter directly with our grower and investigate further. We are glad we were able to connect with you directly and provide a resolution. Thank you for helping us identify and evaluate unusual issues like this, as customer feedback plays an important role in maintaining the quality standards we strive for!

Thank you for sending such healthy Siberian iris roots! I'm very happy with my purchase and will definitely order from you again in the future!

Like the other reviewers, my iris roots were planted last fall and they have not sprouted. We are in Zone 6 and this should be acceptable for the Siberian Iris. Quite disappointing. Any suggestions?

Unfortunately neither root sprouted this spring. I planted immediately after delivery in the fall per package instructions. Seems other reviewers had the similar problems.

I was so excited to plant these, but the roots didn’t arrive with any new growth, and nothing grew from them at all this summer.

Ordered two packages of Siberian Iris Roots- Silver Edge. Upon arrive they looked nothing like the picture shown. There was absolutely no new shoot growth. I have had them in the ground for a couple of weeks and have seen no growth yet. If they do not grow I will contact Eden Brothers. I have learned to have patience when starting new plants, but I was not happy with the looks of the roots I received.
