Ozark Beauty Everbearing Strawberry Roots are prized for their exceptional hardiness, vigor, and heavy yields, making them a longtime favorite. Self-pollinating and one of the most highly productive, Ozark Beauty delivers abundant harvests from early summer until the first frost, providing plenty to enjoy fresh and save for later.

  • • Everbearing types provide smaller, continuous yields summer through fall, ideal for fresh eating throughout the season

These arrived in spring with a bit of green in the stems, and I followed the soaking/watering directions from the package. I planted them in a raised bed and covered with mulch and watered consistently, but unfortunately none of the plants survived beyond a few weeks after planting. I've been gardening for years, but this was my first year trying strawberries, so I thought maybe they're just really difficult to grow. I ended up buying some ever bearing strawberries locally which did much better.

Store owner replied: Hello Whitney. We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. We're sorry to hear that your strawberry roots did not establish as expected. Strawberry roots generally establish well when planted in spring, but cool, wet weather can sometimes slow root development or increase the risk of crown or root rot before the plants become established. While consistent watering is important, prolonged periods of saturated soil can also affect young plants. We are glad we had the opportunity to provide a resolution and appreciate you giving us the chance to help. We stand behind our products and hope you'll continue to enjoy success with your new strawberry patch for many seasons to come!

I was excited to try these this year and order everything from one place. Unfortunately when I got them have were dried up. Planted everything and they never caught.

Store owner replied: Hello Olivia. Thank you for taking the time to share your review with us. We are sorry to hear that your strawberry roots did not establish successfully! For anyone considering bare-root strawberries, it's important to know that they often arrive looking dry or dormant, which is completely normal and helps protect them during shipping and storage. Soaking the roots in water for 30 minutes to a few hours before planting can help rehydrate them, and planting them promptly in well-drained soil with consistent moisture gives them the best chance to establish. We are happy we were able to connect with you and provide a resolution. We also appreciate your feedback and have shared your comments with our team. At Eden Brothers, we stand behind our products and are always here to help our gardeners succeed!
