The ones that came up are lovely (I think some chipmunks got several). The colors are vibrant and gorgeous—though the copper one was not at all what is pictured. I planted with daffodils and pink mist tulips (seen with the purple flower in mu pictures).
I was excited about these but only 3 of 48 came up. I planted them in containers which may have been the problem.

Planting tulips in containers in Zone 6 can sometimes be challenging, as pots are more exposed to winter temperature swings and freeze/thaw cycles than in-ground plantings. Containers can also dry out or retain excess moisture more quickly, and tulips require both consistent moisture and excellent drainage to establish properly. These tulips are just incredible. I wanted to cut some for a vase inside but couldn’t bear to! Just beautiful.
I ordered 24 bulb mystery mix in Fall 2022. The last 2 springs these tulips have been incredible. Only downside (not horrible) is I wish the mix had more than 2 colors but that’s the mystery part. Planning on buying more.
