Planted the roots three months ago - nothing has come up. Maybe next year??

    Yarrow Roots - Fanal

Store owner replied: Hello Mark G. Thank you for sharing your experience. We are sorry your Yarrow roots haven’t produced any visible growth yet. A June planting in Zone 9 can be particularly challenging for dormant bare roots, as they have to establish just as intense summer heat arrives, and heat and rapidly drying soil can delay or prevent successful emergence. While an established Yarrow plant is quite heat tolerant, newly planted roots need time to develop before handling those conditions. It’s possible a healthy crown could still be dormant and surprise you with growth when conditions become favorable, so leaving the area undisturbed into spring is worthwhile, although we can’t guarantee it will return. We were glad we were able to help you and provide a resolution and that you’re willing to try again. We hope an earlier start gives your next planting a much better opportunity to establish and thrive!

I was left disappointed because after following the growing instructions word for word this never did grow.
